Update tell me what u guys think ..
Well i finally got my car out for the first time. Here is a link to the thread i made on yellow bullet tell me what u guys think. http://www.yellowbullet.com/forum/showt ... p?t=251454 . This is the first time i ever been in a car like this and we didnt touch anything on the car at all, no adjustments to caltracs , coil overs, or anything. I didnt even change the plugs. lol ,I basically wanted to see if i could drive this thing and before u know it its time to go. I had some bad passes 12.12 et but my best pass was
60 ft 1.452
1/8 6.444
mph 106.86
1/4 10.165
mph 131.32
Also keep in mind i am foot braking the car had a issue with the solinoid and had 30 degress of timing. could have had it to atleast 32-34 So close to a 9 sec et but i cant complain for having it out for the first time. I am sure there is more power in it. Especially when i jet it.
Thanks

Sounds pretty salty, but you had a grin ear to ear!
I'd say that car's going in the 9's sometime soon...

Im not gonna lie i was scared to death not knowing what to expect, but got use to to the tire shake the feeling of skating around at mid track. When all said n done im sure that with the transbrake working leaving at 5000 rpm and some tunning it should go 9's not to bad for a street car. How much hp do you think im making in a all steel nova minus the hood and 10 point chromolly cage with 350 pound driver. Thanks

Depends on the weight, guessing around 3400 lbs it's probably around 600-650 at the crank.

How much do you guys think a transbrake is worth in my situation on the footbrake im leaving at about 2500 rpm and the converter should be good for 4700-5000 stall on the transbrake. Thanks

Looks like there might be a little left in the 60', maybe 1/2 tenth? Seems with your ET, it ought to be in the 1.30's somewhere.
