My buddys brother told me that i could bolt on the throttle body and injectors from a 5.3 or 5.7 on my '91 4.3 to give it more power without getting worse fuel millage. How much bull$h!t is in what he told me? it doesnt sound right...more fuel and air means more power to a degree,i understand that, but the more fuel part is what catches my attention! I get about 14 MPG when i drive it EXTREMELY light and im only getting about 98 horse to the rear wheels according to my other friends dyno...but thats because my tranny is toast! i got a new one sitting here waiting on me to put it on but its too cold outside! what is a good way to get a little more of the good stuff without losing too much fuel? im not talking about nitrous,or a turbocharger or anything like that! just a little more torque!
