Well....I wanted to get it done today. But, the world had other plans for me. My wife listed our love seat and chaise on Craigslist at 1 AM Sunday(today) and at 9 am somebody said they would take it. But, they had nothing to pick it up with. So they traded me a near new pressure washer to deliver it 35 miles away. However, my truck and trailer hadn't been started in 3 months and I dont keep it plugged in. After 2 of fiddling and cranking, and unburying it out of the snow the winning combo was 1hr with the heater plugged in, then my big battery charger on one battery and my Impala on the other lol. Luckily it got up to 30° today :)

John - I am a junior (< 1 yr experience) .Net developer. I took a course in Java when I went to night school. For the most part it is not all that bad. I found alot of good how-to articles here http://developer.android.com/guide/appe ... tasks.html I stilll don't have it pulling listings in, but hopefully I can get it done by the end of this comming weekend. My webservice from the site is all finished and running. My url-rewriting was messing up my service...that's why it took so long to get to the app. So, to answer your question John, it's not on the market yet. I will undoubtedly have the links to the apps on the sites homepage. One of my friends has begun an iPhone app as well.

But never fear, when it is done I will paste a link here

Actually, Jimmy (track manager) has already listed Tulsa Raceway Park on the site, check our track directory. Thanks again Jimmy! I sent him a voucher for some free listings. So look for them to be on the site soon. They actually have a 100K event this year. I never new I had races like that only 8 hours from home...if only someone had a website to help with that. ;)

Just published the android app.

https://market.android.com/details?id=c ... MoneyRaces

For some reason I can't put it on my phone from the marketplace website...keeps saying my carrier doesn't allow it. I'm not sure if it takes some time to find it from the marketplace on the phone - when I use the marketplace from my phone it doesn't show. Maybe it will later tonight.

OK, it's available for download now. I didn't check the US box in the huge list of countries.

Just loaded 190 dragstrips into my site 8-) It's rather fun to play with and see how far tracks are away from you. Of course, my opinion may be biased

I'm an old coder (Cobol, Assembler, Pascal, Fortran, ad nauseum) turned architect turned part time coder again - I've been hacking my way deeper and deeper into the DOM, and HTML, JavaScript, Ajax, CSS, JQuery, PHP, etc., for the last three years. I'm finally starting to make some headway on some web apps I'm building - not a lot of eye candy but lots and lots of feature/function on both the client side and the back end server stuff. I'm using Apache with PHP and DB2 in the backend and it's starting to get really entertaining. I never did get very deep into the Windows world (.NET, COM, Visual xxx, et al) - it always seem like too small of a pocket universe for me - playing follow the leader with those Windows knuckleheads was never very appealing to me.
