Back on the ground

#1 Post by John_Heard » Wed May 11, 2011 9:17 pm

All painted up and back on the ground once again!

Not a lot of changes, just hacked off the front of the frame, all setup now for once piece steel front end setup.

Gonna have to pass on doing any more of that kind of work for a while, I'm a bit tired of sanding, priming and painting. Was sure nice to start bolting stuff back ON for a change! Next up is a mount for the air dam, then paint the radiator support, etc.

The "to-do" list is getting shorter...

I've more irons in the fire than I know what to do with. At this point, I don't know when I'll have my car done. If I can knock out another engine assembly this weekend, maybe I can focus in on mine when the parts get back to me from the machine shop.

Very nice John, I know like the rest of us you can't wait to get her back on the track. How far away are you from having it back together? notice I didn't say finished :-)

Good question Phil - I'd love to have it back together this summer so we can get some passes in. Just have to see how it goes, lots left to do. Next stop chassis shop for a couple things, then to the Paint.
