Hot Summer Nights @ Mokan July 29

#1 Post by camaroman9 » Mon Jul 11, 2011 9:22 pm

We had an awesome time doing this event last year. For those of you with that friday available, it won't be something you want to miss. We had over 1500 spectators come out for the event last year. It is an event designed specifically for the SPECTATORS to come out and have fun and watch a good show. It was the biggest spectator turnout mokan has had in several years for any event. It doesn't pay big bucks, but you are guaranteed a good time. Oh yeah, FREE entry for car and driver if you let them know you are coming ahead of time.

Bump - I saw over on the OTT5 Board that a number of the Oklahoma True Ten Five guys are thinking about coming over and running this event. Should be a great race, and it's in the evening the heat shouldn't be too bad.

If all these cars show up that are saying they are going to, then it wouldn't surprise me if there was 16 or more cars at this deal. With the wheelstander for the kiddos and all the other cars that will be there, i couldn't think of a better way to spend a friday night!

Not that i know of. He is doing some upgrades to the car, so it should be ready for street machines at ORP.
