I'm not the best guy on TH400 trans internals but I think you need to drill the drum so that it'll release fluid pressure fast enough for the t-brake to release quickly. We also had to open (grind) a passage in the case circuits for the same reason. I don't believe it's as simple as adding a valve body and solenoid valve. But like I said, I'm not the guy for Th400 internals...

I will say this, if you have a TCI trans brake, pitch it and buy a good brand like Transmission Specialties, BTE....

My coworker had multiple problems with his TCI trans brake and after doing a search on them, more and more racers are having issues with them.

Here, I did a search on the solid mount and this is what I found: viewtopic.php?f=5&t=3080&hilit=tranny+mount

Not going against what Rob said but I have read numerous times that if you run solid motor mounts you should run a rubber trans mount.
Those who think they know it all have no way of finding out they don't.........

Oh I am not def not the one who is going to be installing this part. I have a transmission guy who has been racing and building transmissions and race cars for years.

Did you have long trans dowels? And was the transmision mount bolted on just snug against the crossmember? Not pulling down, or pushing up against the back of the tail housing. And was the driveshaft balanced, and is it still balanced?
how tied together is the chassis? Good luck with your repairs!!! :thumb:

Well found out what caused the case to break. The top bolts of the transmission backed out. The transmission mount is an Energy Suspension 3-1108G - Energy Suspension Transmission Mounts polyurethane
