Then I say it's time for a new brand.

Good luck buddy.
Those who think they know it all have no way of finding out they don't.........

Hey Bruce,
Even the owners are involved now and asked me to give them a chance to fix the issue. Their trying to make it right now that they are handling it. There is a bigger story that I can't say anything about right now. I'm giving it one more chance that's it, ONE!!!!! I can tell you that they are sending a completely new and different converter free to try. Like I said early'er, they now know that they have completely missed the Converter tune up for my combo.

Yikes, that really sucks. Best of luck to you chris.
I am not really sure what the question is, but I am pretty sure the answer is Big Block.

hehe. give them a CHANCE. lol.

btw, im in the same boat as you. my $300 redneck converter is showing 14% slip and that bugs me. I cant afford a high dollar one so Im just going to have to live with it for now. rumor has it that one can put john deere hy gard in and that would tighten it up about 300rpms due to the higher viscousity of the fluid.

Man that sucks to hear Chris. It sounds like they are putting a lot of effort into trying to get you happy, and at least there is that.
I bought a converter from marty for dad, and had one retuned for me by him. And I have nothing but good to say about what Marty did to get us what we needed. It was an excellent, and pricey deal, but worth every penny. I know your ride has a lot left in it, and if they are shipping it now you will get to make some hits in good air this fall at least. Good luck, and keep us posted on what happens.

By the way, he has some billet aluminum ones that look like they came out of a ufo. Pretty cool.
