Beautiful paint, Bruce. Your paint guy does really nice work and that color and brightness will really make that ride stand out from the crowd :thumb:

Nice work :)

Of course, now ya need a lot of noisy belt driven hardware sticking up through the hood :smt003

I was going to tie Chris to the hood and have him make all the sound affects.

He's got a lot of good wind lmao2:

Thanks guys for the compliments. Should look better this week when the hood comes home. I also started adding some of the small details. The only thing Nelson doesn't want me to do is pop rivet the dzus fasterners on the body panels yet.

Hi Mike T,

It's TCP Globals own brand, it is Hugger Orange and we used the single stage urethane. Although I didn't spray my car this time, my coworker did for me and it's not the first time he has had good luck with this brand paint. He really likes how it sprays and is very easy to work with.

He just painted his Mustang with a Firemist Red, in base coat/ clear coat urethane and it turned out very nice.

Our engine builder also sprayed his car in Hugger Orange in a single stage urethane and that also turned out very nice.

To be truthfully honest, my car was painted in steps with a few months in between and I ran out of paint and ordered another gallon. You can't even tell what panels were painted with which gallon. A lot of times you do run into this problem when you use two different cans and he even told me in the end, that he used a different primer and nothing, it all matches to the T.

For $120 you can't beat this kit, you get a gallon of paint plus the hardener and activator and it took about a week for them to ship it from CA to PA.

I would recommend this brand to anyone, except for this certain guy whom drives a Nova and makes engine noises with his mouth....ver-room, ver-room...I mean, Kaboom, Kaboom! (I was going to go..geeerind, geeerind goes the tranny, but that is kind of mean... :smt002 ).

WooHoo.....the hood is done and I'm picking that up tonight after work and last night I got the grill back in.

The pumpkin is going to be ready for Halloween.

I'll try to get new pictures but got one problem, they're calling for snow showers on Saturday

That's funny, that's what my wife said too and also something about pushing it out front with a candle in it

Me thinks she just wants the car's parking spot in the garage :smt002

Good news, the hood is back on the car and it looks good. They're call for 3" to 6" inches of snow so when I get the driveway shovelled, I'll push it out and get some pictures.

Do white ghost racing stripes...maybe ghost black ones. It would be cool if it was something that you didn't notice right away.
