I had a chance to talk to Mike about his ride at the Mako race I attended over the summer. Its gonna be one sick machine, I cant wait to see it out. I would say I really look foward to racing him, but I already know what the tail section of a chevelle looks like. ;)

OK, then it didn't happen. Surprised the crap outta me when it lit off the second hit of the switch. This engine hasn't ran for over 6 years and it idled like it was warmed up. Man, that .580" lift cam really thumps on that 11:1 compression. ;) Now, I gotta fix all the leaks I found.

Very cool Mike,

Wow, the last time we talked, you were having some issues with the header clearances or was it the dizzy hitting the firewall or was it........

Anyhow, glad it came alive, bro.

I heard rumor that the motor was 15oz over-weight so he's draining the oil and water to see if he can lighten them up :nutkick:

He Mike, what's left to do?
