Yup - I just need to get over being worried about scratching it.

John,

Trying not to scratch it doesn't work. I tried and tried and even forbidden anyone to go out to my garage and then
one day it happened. I was drilling the last pilot hole for the rocker panel molding and being super careful and then
it happened, the drill bit broke and I put a chip in the door.

Was not a happy camper but now I got over the fear of putting a scratch in my car and so far, no more scratches.

Tape all the areas where parts go together and rockers with the blue tape when assembling and climbing in and out it will save lots of scratches. The blue tape is less adhesive than regular masking tape and wont leave residue. Oh yeah the car looks great!!

Thanks - I wonder if they make foot wide blue tape? lol..

Three more days and I can start putting trim stuff back on. I think I'll stick the trans in while I'm waiting.

Why three more days?

Did Rob want the paint to setup a little?

Yes, he wanted me to wait a minimum of one week before putting anything back on it so the paint can finish curing completely. I think it's pretty much there, it's not stinking up the garage anymore.
