I have a set of used Hoosier 315's I'm going to mount up this winter and see if they fit under the car or not.
Yes, we just weighed it last night to see where it was at, 3236 w/driver with everything in it.
We still have to put door panels in it which will bump the weight up a bit more.

I wished me car weighed that! Mine's 3656 lbs w/drive.
With my car running 5.50's, just think what it will run when it weighs what yours does. I might have a 5.20 car by next year.
I sure am jealous John. Your car is one of the nicest Nova's around hands down. I love the way it turned out.

3656 is indeed pretty heavy, no doubt it would be quicker if you get that weight out of it.
I'd sure like to get another 100 lbs out of mine, but the only easy place is an aluminum block. Besides not being cheap, I don't to take THAT much off the front.
Chris shot this vid with her phone, I have some shock settings to work on as you can see.

I looked at getting a aluminum block. My buddy at Reher Morison's told me that aluminum blocks move around and cause hp loss, that's why pro stock don't use them. Plus how much they cost. He also said they work in light cars with very high hp output combos that hp loss isn't an issue. Not worth the investment in my case.
Lose 150 lbs and maybe 100 hp at the cost of $5,000.00 +.

Thanks - notice no more blink - blink going down track? That little annoying problem won't happen anymore. Yeah the reverse lights are kinda bright huh?

Ok I'm always doing this for others, what do you guys see here? I'll keep my mouth shut. This was a 1.27 60', and yeah room for improvement for sure.

Watch the right wheel at the hit. It pulls it up before it plants. Has a small bounce on the tire but recovers well. Shock adjustment will fix that.
I might have a 5.20 car by next year.
