Re: Painted car!!!!!
I just traded some stuff for a pair of fiberglass doors. I'd like to use stock hinges, latches and door handles if I can find a couple junk doors to pull the hardware from.

We tried go test this weekend but no such luck. All tracks closed due to rainy weather. Did get to drive it a little on the road in front of the shop though.

Re: Painted car!!!!!
Very nice sir....very nice...
Seems so weird to see it all in one, sorry two colors, after all these years but the wait was worth it.

Those who think they know it all have no way of finding out they don't.........

Re: Painted car!!!!!
Well, we got the car out and did some testing on Sunday and I got to tell ya it ran flawlessly!!!!!!! With the 300+ lbs off of it it went from running 6.20's to 5.90's on motor and with a 300 shot of N2O it went 5.30's. With the bigger pills we should get it in the low .20's maybe even teens. I don't like the converter that's in it and feel like the converter is still holding it back. The new trans and shiftnoid worked perfectly. Had 1 misshap with the nitrous on the last pass and burned a spark plug so we called it a night. All in all it was great to get the car out and make hits with it. Felt really good to be driving again.......
Even got a cool pic of the car leaving.

Re: Painted car!!!!!
Good news besides the plug! Looks like it's leaving real nice too! I assume you didn't spray it the whole pass?

No, I turned it on at 1.3 sec's out.. Didn't want it to go over backwards.........Just yet! LOL The track was dead hooking and we witnessed a few cars on the bumpers.

Re: Painted car!!!!!
That's what I figured, that means that 5.30's just the tip of the iceburg. Might want to tighten up those front shocks a bit before you do that one haha.
