I dug around and can't find my notes on how much my fiberglass bumpers saved, but it's not a lot, maybe 10-15 lbs each? The trunk lid swap I'm thinking is worth 40lbs, but again not sure, might depend on bolt or pin on style. The stock trunk lid is pretty heavy.

do the front bumper. id keep the steel deck lid, it gives you weight where you need it, on the ass end. the goal is to get the car as close to 50/50 weight dist as possible

The bumpers were not all that heavy, I think most of the weight was in the brackets.

when you replace the front bumper, do you use the factory brackets or can you get lighter ones?

I used the stock ones on the front, just the center portions. The didn't seem to heavy, especially after I drilled a few extra holes in them. On the back, those I replaced they are somewhat heavy.
