Great New Web Site
Moderator: John_Heard
Site has grown like crazy. There are a bunch of 9 sec and a few 8 second combination spelled out for members to learn from. Feedback has been tremondous.
Give it a look and let me know what you think?

So to you other sites are bad?????????? I must tell you, there are other sites on the web in case you did not know!!!!!!!!!!!!sixty_foot wrote:this is an obvious troll for another web site......the admin should remove it
If it is against this sites policy to allow mentioning other sites - then they should remove it, just in case, I will!!!!!!!!!!!
On the site you are running your mouth about we promote everything in the racing community, because we feel it's a large group of friends - sorry you do not agree.
your 60' huh, well my small tire street car with slapper bars @ 3,470 lbs, on pump gas, foot braking pulls 1.2 60' times and hangs the wheels in the air 80' down the track, I'm sure that's common to you!

Ed, this is ok with me.. YD-LUZ, no problem posting about your engine combination site. I built this web site to help racers find things they were looking for! I really haven't had a chance to look at your site since the first day, but will visit again. I look at all these different sites on the net for racers as different guys's garages, where you can stop by, ask questions and do some bench racin'. It's all good to me.
On the other hand, I won't allow commerical or marketing posts that are not related to racing, such as pills, porn, mortgage loans, etc. Those will get nuked in a hurry.

running my mouth ??
yd luz......you need to get out and make a couple extra passes !
when a "non member" that has not posted a single item, ever, tries to redirect members of a forum to go elsewhere, then they have create a screen name and log in......just to view the info you endorse......that is a troll.
then to jump in on how "bad" your car is and send insults in a private pm.....that pretty much says it all.( by the way...how many posts have you made to contribute to this site......so far.)

Re: running my mouth ??
ZERO!!!! I believe I was clear in my request, just remove my site name/post. I also said sorry a couple of times!!! When I posted the deal to begin with here, I was simply going through my favorites list and posting info about the new site, in doing so (in hast) I did not realize that this was a site I had not even joined. Sorry again for that - and I joined the second I realized it and said I'M SORRY. Then your post comes...I do get very fired up at people that camp out on some boards waiting to throw negative comments at other racers, you seemed to fit the description. I sent you a pm because I felt that would be the best way to address the issue I had with your post - which if I remember right I said was stupid. Regardless - it is not worth anyones time to piss and moan on the internet - so please allow me to say SORRY for my pm and my post, as well as posting info about my site here. It was my mistake!!!sixty_foot wrote:yd luz......you need to get out and make a couple extra passes !

You are right about one thing - enginecombination.com is a locked down site with RULES - this type of thing is the very reason for that!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's a waste of time and does not help our cars go faster - sorry I participated in it - I was wrong. Good Luck to you.

Thanks a lot and I'm chilled out. Yeah, the car works pretty good, it actually only pulls 1.33's - 1.35's but always on the rear hides. So at the front wheels, it should be a high 1.2. We have faster and quicker guys on my site for sure, but most are not running a 3,470 pump gas sb with a slapper bar leaf sring deal. Let me again say, I'm sorry. Good luck with your site!!!!!! Next time you're on the board, drop me a pm.Beyond wrote:Chill out guys... YD-LUZ, you're welcome here just like Ed/Sixty_foot is.
Oh yeah... 1.2 60's ??? I'd say you were hooked !!! I rarely see that on the 10.5w cars in this area on a perfect launch.. More like 1.25 at best, common is 1.3x

Yeah, I'm not positive what the front wheel 60' is. Just had the trans checked and sent converter to be tightened up a bunch for more bottle. Trying to get an 8 sec pass out of it.Beyond wrote:That sound a bit more common, still darn good. I'd love to get mine launching in the 1.3x's... Last year it was at 1.42 but having tranny problems, hopefully with the new setup it will see some 1.3's.
Please don't forget to join the site if you have not already!!!!

Hey,dont you go running off. I am Johns Buddy and in fact his neighbor. I signed up on your site immediately, as even tho I,m gettin a little gray,I,m a fast learner. I enjoyed your site very much. Its way cool as mostly fast cars,so that means to me,a lot of knowledge at your place. So dont be shy. I cant speak for John, but seems he has openly invited you to stick around. I sure hope you do.
