If you have issues cooling, this will just make it worse...I learned the hard way :)

John...your also missing some fender wells there buddy! :)
Yep, thats why I have 2 puller fans at 1500 cfm's each! :thumb:

My motor is a tall deck block so the rods are longer then even a 496 ci legnth rod.
A 496 ci motor uses a standard deck hight of 9.8 and mine is 10.2
A 496 ci motor uses a rod that is 6.385 and mine uses a 6.535 length rod.
A 496 ci motor uses a 4.25 length crank and mine uses a 4.50 length crank.
My motor is a 525 ci motor with a 4.310 bore and a 4.500 stroke.
What else would you like to know?

That pic is from early last year. Everythings apart now. I've been working on the firewall for about a month now filling holes, etc. Hope to finish all that work this weekend. Fenders, hood, bumpers are over at Robert's (camaroman9) getting body work done. Sent the heads and intake off to have them tweaked, and I've got all the wiring stripped out of the car. I'll be taking the car over to the body shop soon to get the firewall painted, door and LR qtr repaired.

I fixed all but the cosmetic stuff last summer. That magnetic guard rail got the Left side fender, door, rear qtr, both wheels and tires, header and lower a-arm. Plus last summers hood launching incident didn't do the hood any favors either, it was a tough year on ol' Blue...
