Nova trunk fab question
I am going to put steel tubs straight out to the quarters and was wondering if it would hurt anything if I did the same with the sides of the trunk pan? Is pretty rusty and I am just going to sheet metal most of the trunk anyway.

i dont see why it would hurt. on my car and a few others i know dont even sheet metal a trunk pan. my cell is mounted inbetween my framerails and the batterys are mounted with weld on battery trays that also connect to the framerails. fuel pump is mounted underneith the framrails. i can adjust my shocks or bleed my brakes from the top.
makes it easy for me. the tubs keep all the rubber from cakeing up in there.

on my transham ( my Trans am is a PIg ) , I am going to run the sheetmetal flush with the bottom of the fenders to the backlip of the bumper to keep the back from acting like a chute , look under some pro stock cars and you will see they make it smooth as possible to the back.
100% Pure Pontiac well all except for the rearend. its a Ferd .
