Welding question

#1 Post by jumbo » Sun Mar 01, 2009 3:02 am

I just got through putting a mild steel cage in my car. I need to put my window net on now. I didn't realize it when I bought it, but the window net kit is chrome moly. What kind of tig rod can I use to weld this.

Jumbo, I did not think to tell you in the pm's that you could come by the shop and pick up a few tig rods to do that or you can bring the stuff to me and I'll weld it for you.

I may just bring it to you to weld it on for me. I should have it rolling this weekend. But ORSCA being next weekend, it will be a couple of weeks before I can get down there. PM me a price to do it and your number if you will and i'll call you in a couple of weeks.
Thanks for the offer!
