My O2 sensor for my UEGO 2000 digital AFR monitor started reading off scale high (17+) just recently. Is there any way to clean the sensor? Or is it new sensor time? THX.

I know of no way to clean an O2 Sensor. Reading lean is typical of a bad sensor. It could be a problem in the controller, but more likely its the sensor.

I spoke with a guy at the track that says he does tuning and claims he's cleaned the sensors with a small propane/MAP gas torch.
Take it for what it's worth.

Thanks guys, I guess I could try that, I don't have much to lose. I should have mentioned that it goes off scale high intermittently. I have also read on other forums that O2 sensor safe throttle body cleaner works sometimes...

If it was an injected motor there is a product called Terra Clean that cleans O2 and Cats.
