I would like to double dip at the track this comming year (run box and no-box). I am wondering if anyone has experience with how much changing front tire size will slow the car down out of the beams. I need to slow my ride down at least .010, but .020 would give me some room to adjust my button. I'm rockin' worn out 26" Mickeys now @ 28 psi, so I would like to make an educated guess how much bigger to buy. I know I could put 28s on and be done with it, but I am hoping I don't have to go that large...don't care for the look.
If someone knows how to do the math to figure this out, that's be cool too

...sportsman, I guess I don't see why it matters though?

Re: Front Tire Size?
Really it doesn't. You just have to learn where to put car in the lights for each situation.

Re: Front Tire Size?
OK...thought I had missed something.
I always try to barely get in the beams. Ocassionally I can look cool and get the stage bulbs to flicker. In my opinion that is the onlty way to stage consistantly.

You'll find there won't be a lot of difference in the way you launch doing it both ways.
