Guys, I need your help. After looking and looking for rack and pinion dimensional data in the quest for an OEM rack that's a good fit for a 1st gen Nova, I've decided to start collecting it myself and making it available on 2QuickNovas.com. I'm sure there are plenty of people out there searching for an affordable rack for many custom projects.
So what I'm asking is for anyone willing to measure the inner tie-rod pivot to inner tie-rod pivot width on any car you have legal access to. I also need to know if its a front or rear steer rack, left or right hand drive (for any of our over-seas members), if its power or manual and if its a end take-off or center take-off.
Just a tape measurement is good enough and don't bother pulling back the boots. Just squeeze the boots to find the center of the ball joint and measure to the center of the other inner ball joint.
Thanks!
