Hey ya'll

#1 Post by sverbus » Fri Apr 06, 2012 12:34 pm

Man...I've been gone for a while...I bet my last post was 2 summers ago...geeze.

I still have the Nova...but only drove it 3x last year for a total of 32miles and NEVER got to the track since the 434 was freshened up.../sigh

Selling my 434 btw...want to build a forced-induction motor of some sort...not decided on that yet. I see that John's got his rig under some nice new paint...SuperNova and Craig W. are motoring along.

Hope everyone else is doing good...I did do one thing to my car this spring since I got it out of storage...took the 3.5" bullets off and put the Super 44's from Flowmaster back on...car is SO much more responsive when driving. BIG difference.

Take care ya'll.

Glad to hear from you. I'm having Turbo envy really bad these days. Can't afford that so I bought some nitrous. Keep us updated.

Good to hear from ya Scott. How about a big block and a F3 blower? That sounds like fun...

I am parting out my 434...keeping the block and a few other things which will make building my blower motor a little more affordable. So a BBC isn't an option this time around. :) Plus I got some killer headers last year from Mr. Watson. lol

I am going to keep my Little M block, and go to a 415 stroker, 76cc heads from Brodix probably, and some Mahle pistons (not set on these btw) and get about 8.2:1 compression and stuff a 8/71 "under" the hood. Of course I'll keep my distributor and such...and drivetrain minus the cam.

The 8/71 blower and all is practially free since my father has one sitting on the shelf, which is why I won't go with the procharger as I gotta pay for that :)

For now..I'm taking the car to the track this friday if I can get it running. Was just invited to a closed track event which means no pressure to make passes, can make as many as I need to have fun, and go fast.

Take care guys,

Scott
