I just cleaned the pad with Acetone and stuck it on there... No glue.

A coat of armor all and the plastic looks pretty close to black vinyl fyi...

Just placed the order for the dash cap. Decided not to use JC Whintey, they wanted another $65 to ship it, so I went to the Parts Bin and they shipped it for $19.......
Those who think they know it all have no way of finding out they don't.........

That's weird, I don't remember them charging me anywhere near that much to ship.

It's a heavy object surcharge, cost $65, so by the time I was done, it would have cost me $147.45.

I got it for $88.96.

You are right, I put some Armor All on my in-laws dash cap and it looks real close to the factory black.

Here's a pic of mine. $85.00 + $12.00 shipping off of eBay 3 years ago. I siliconed it to the stock dash pad that was in bad shape.
Now mine looks used cause I use my car. Bruce spends more time cleaning his than driving it hence the shiny clean interior.

And what's up with the PINK bandana Bruce? Your not going funny on us are you?

$68.00 + $20.00 shipping from the Parts Bin.

The PINK bandana is in memory of my four legged best friend, that I put down a few months ago. She was always with me in the garage and I owe it to her in respect. Now when you get done wipping your eyes from crying, you can give me a call to appologize........BUSTED! (Don't call, I'm doing testing right now and my boss will want to know whom I'm yelling at! Wait till next week, ok).
Guilty as charged, I like my stuff to look good, that's why I don't drive it. But it was just cleaned because I got a car show to take it to in a two weeks.

But I do have a video of the motor running so this way I can prove that it does run and make noise :thumb:
