John, that car just looks so mean sitting in your driveway. Great job to all that had something to do with your build.

Is that carbon fiber rollbar padding on the forward bars in the engine bay?

Whatever it is, that's a good idea.

Thanks - That stuff on the bars is 3m DiNoc material that looks like carbon fiber to help keep from scuffing the paint off. It's a lot cheaper than real CF, lighter and you can replace it pretty easy if you mess it up. So far it seems pretty durable, I like it.

Jason - I'm looking for a 30' - 32' footer tag. I'm not sure a 28 is going to be long enough for the car and a golf cart/4 wheeler. Spread dual axle would be nice, Kinda like to avoid triples mainly because I hear the troopers like to pull those over for weight checks/CDL stuff. I hear you want to stay under 26,000 total for truck and trailer.

Hey John,

I had my nova and golf cart in my 28'. Golf cart had back seat and I had a bench in the front of the trailer. About 1-2 foot between the car and cart and a foot from the back door to the car.

If I didn't have the wing and the chute sticking out so far a 28 would probably work fine, I have the feeling it would be pretty tight now that I have those on there and don't want to fight trying to get it to fit.

You could always cut a whole in the trailer door..... :smt005

Just think, use the chute to help stop and the wing will give you better aerodynamics and maybe help with the gas mileage....

I know....shut up!

Well we did pretty good, it ran a 6.19 on the motor with the nitrous baseline timing in it. First hit it went 5.30@136, then next round some dummy forgot to turn the nitrous on, third hit went a 5.30 but mph dropped a bit, fourth it went a 5.32 with worse 60' - was playing around trying a few things. The major thing that needs worked on is the driver, definitely need more seat time. Can't complain about that car at all went arrow straight. I do need to work on the brakes, something ain't quite right on them so I'm going to closely look that over, I think it's still got some air in the lines or something.

Congtrats John, First time back together and 5.30 aint bad at all. Yeah the driver may need more seat time but I'll bet he was grinning from ear to ear. And just where is the video at?
