sc, i will use c12 at the track and pump fuel on the street.. our pump fuel here in england is 98 super unleaded and 93 regular unleaded

timing on sbc
408 sbc,, 12 to 1 cr, comp cam xr292,dart pro one 230 heads,, crank trigger and locked timing, digital 7 box, looking for timing ballpark numbers. thinking 36-38 total.. does that seem a good place to start

wikd,, had a innovate lm1 before this and to be honest i wish i had kept it,, the only advantage with the fast is it uses dual sensors.. will probably go back to a lm1 as i think my sensors are on the way out, probably the race fuel i used on 3 occasions..

checked the ground resistance and all seems ok.there is only one ground on the monitor.. have run race fuel in the past.. took the sensors out to free air test and they were sooted up,one read 9, very rich and the other was 21, very lean,,, cleaned them using brake cleaner and now the reading is dow...

jasper, what ground are you talking about,, engine has 3 grounds on it ,, dont the exhaust ground via the motor

doubt if its a breeze.. sensors are in my collectors and i have an exhaust behind them, exhaust is about 15 feet long with race bullets at the front.. it was sitting in the workshop at the time with no obvious draught going on..

i have a fast af meter, the dual type with sensors in both left and right collector.. when the ignition is on but the motor not running the reading on the meter jumps around dramatically, swings from 13 up to 21 afr.. this is with the motor not running.. does this mean the sensors are faulty or the ...

intake was skimmed by 50 thou on the sides,, have been told to use thicker gaskets,, 120 thou instead of the 60 thou on it at the moment

i have a 408 sbc, 11.8cr..... 263-273@50 cam 110 ls... 950 hp holley dp.. dart pro one 230 heads about 5 years old skimmed 50thou.... my problem is that the super victor intake i have is vac leaking after the skim to match the heads,, it leaks from the bottom edge into the valley... so i assume i no...

flowing fuel pressure
flowed my fuel system today,, dead heading into holley 803 reg,, fuel pressure pushed up to 8-9 psi when the valve was shut on the check tool...but went straight to 6 psi when opened and went back up when i shut the tool... is this normal

craig, yes i do run a crank trigger, so rotor phase is not a problem... if you wait till its further out before bringing the advance in will it simply blow the tires off.. thanks for replying
