Hello!!

We've raced since 1984, mostly at Cedar Falls Raceway in Cedar Falls Iowa. We've been as far as Atlanta with the car (FlashBack) running with the NMCA. We've had this car since 1988 and we've raced it since 1991.
We've had a whole lot of different combinations as far as engines go but the currrent ride is with a 401" Windsor based around the DART block we picked up at the beginning of the '07 season.
We have a website www.elimn8u.com where we have some more info on the car/team/etc...
Stumbled across this site a few days ago...only wish I had found it sooner.

I got a chance to work on the "Z" for awhile today.
Got the dash bezel mounted. It was a pain since I had to tack weld the mounts in with the dash cover in place to keep the bezel in the right location. But, I got-r-done. Might work on the steering column next.

Hello everyone, my name is Keith Benson and have been posting a few times and just now noticed this thread. I've been bracket racing here in the northwest for about 12 years but been messing around with projects since about 12 years old (thanks to my dad). I've had my '67 camaro for about 14 years and it's gone through several revamps currently running a 555 and a glide. Of course we're never finished with these things and currrently I'm preparing it for paint someday. I hate doing body work and figured I better start getting it ready or I never will get it done. My wife Shonette supports this habit to the point of actually getting a car and winning a track championship her second year but now she runs hay burners instead. My daughter Brittny just got a junior dragster that should be pretty fun (just not sure where the time will come from for it). My son Brandon will follow right into the jr. I'm glad I found this sight, it's been very helpful so far. Thanks everyone for making it that good.

I built this SS/AMX in 1970 and took it off the street when it had about 4,000 miles and it has 5,100 Original Miles on it now. I have raced it for 38 years and just finished a complete restoration this month.

My Son has 2 AMX's and I have 3 AMX's that will be passed on to the Grandson's you can see the car's history here www.aaa-ammo.com/amx.htm

Ya. Me too, wouldn't THAT be a bummer.

I cheated a little. Chassis Shop has scaled drawings with dimensions in their catalog. I scanned the drawing, blew it up to 1=1 scale and took the geometry from theirs. They sell the same CNC M/C 2 pages earlier, so I hope it works. I also ran it through it's full pedal travel on the screen and it's got about 1/4'' more travel than the M/C. Stay Tuned.
