Thanks MOKANRACER. No, it's machined from salvaged plate aluminum & a little round stock. The rubber pad is cut from a truck mud flap I bought from Big "R".

Got it installed. IT WORKS. Welded just enough to keep it in place. I'll finish the weldin' when it's back on the rotisserie. I'm gettin' too old for that out of position stuff.

* Finish the steering next.

Pushed the "Z" outside to clean the shop today. BUT, this time I didn't have to kick the front tires to keep it str8. I used the STEERING WHEEL. WooHoo.


BTW: I had a weak moment today. There is some spy footage in the link below. Make sure you turn up the volume before you click on the link. This doesn't happen often in the "Z" shop, so don't miss it. :lol:

hey my name is aaron and i have a 1970 nova with 468 and a four speed muncie trans i have air gap intake hooker super comp headers and a mallory ignition system the heads are stock ovals its still a project and its primered hot rod black i don't have interior or seats no windshield waiting for paint now

i do have pics but i dont know how to put them on here yet but i have alot of pics on cardomain.com the name of my page is aarons big block nova and i have 27 pics from before i had my engine to where it is now check it out and tell me what u think
