Re: Choosing a Data Logger
Not exactly, but I would think they would be close. 1500 to 1100 deg makes you think that something would be wrong with the motor and we checked everything.

Re: Choosing a Data Logger
When you moniter the status they are close in temp. We had the motor dyno'd and the superflow e.g.t's said they were good at 1090 to 1100. So we didn't touch a thing. Then we put the motor in the car and ran it with no NOS and they were off by 300 deg.

Re: Choosing a Data Logger
We had cylinders 4,6,7 hot and the rest were good. We checked the plugs and they were great. We even shipped the plugs down to Nitrous Express and they said they looked great. #4 showed 1600 degree and #2 showed 1080 degree. We switched the probes from the #2 to the #4 cylinder without changing anyt...

Then we adjusted and checked the depth of the sensors. They were all good. so he wanted me to check them with a bic l...

Why not to buy a rpm system
The egts don't read right the shock censor you cannot zero. If you call them they tell you everthing is incorrect that you have done, then you triple check what you did they still will not send you a new censor. Our egts read 1600 in one cylinder and 1080 in another then when we switch the leads it ...

I have not ran my motor for awhile and found rust on...
I havent ran my motor for a while. I looked into my cylinders and saw white stuff on my pistions and rust around my valve seats. Will this go away when i start it up or should i tear it apart? I have not ran the motor yet in the car but it has been dynoed.
