the two pin holes inthe front mounts are how we aligned them at the bodyshop when we removed and replaced them IIRC they are 3/8 inch dia .

on the super stock car we used hydraulic quick connects that we got from the ttactor dealership they work great and no drips to start a fire .

I tell people to pull the electronics on race cars , on oem cars they tell you to place the ground clamp as close as you can to the part being welded

on my transham ( my Trans am is a PIg :lol: ) , I am going to run the sheetmetal flush with the bottom of the fenders to the backlip of the bumper to keep the back from acting like a chute , look under some pro stock cars and you will see they make it smooth as possible to the back.

yes you can reverse the polarity but you have to readjust the machine speeds/feeds afterword , when welding upside down i ussually speed up my welding movement( more of a whipping motion ) to keep it from blobing and drag the gun back torwards me and keep more of the heat on the tubing instead of th...

thats normal run out for thickness in the industry it will vary about 6-8 thousandths tops thats why when they call for .118 tube you use .135 tube so that way it will make it past tech (a big mistake alot of beginners make assuming that the tollerances can be held to a tight standard) , I can find ...
