Re: Interesting front spring idea: Hear me out...
They are stacked also, big spring, little spring and so on. each doing its own thing. Look at a new 450 quads front shocks, you will see what I mean.

Re: Interesting front spring idea: Hear me out...
Not a bad idea at all, let me put a twist on it. As a cross country quad racer, we have been using dual and triple rate springs for a long time now. They look similar to coil over springs and if you could find a way to adapt that to your setup, may put you ahead of the game. I asked Dave at one of h...

Re: Anti rollbar ?s for my 69 nova
Mine went between the framerails and no hacking was required because I am backhalved on my olds. Dave said I needed it and I listened. We went from a 4 foot left front wheel in the air with a bumper dragging right rear to a very nice level leaving package. We did do some 4 link tuning along the way ...

Re: Anti rollbar ?s for my 69 nova
I have the Comp Engineering one in mine. Was very easy to put in. What I did notice is the car launches near even every time. (level) I am not sure I have it adjusted completely right, but, since I am going back to one of Daves seminars this weekend, and I will have my car WITH me, I am sure I will ...

Re: Coilovers
THANKS!! I am headed in March down to Newport News VA for another Dave seminar and I am taking the car with me. We are going to scale it and so forth. I just wanted to change the springs before I get there. I will have a good picture of a set of wasted springs as soon as I take them off. You guys ca...

Coilovers
Ok, need some help here. I have the 84 olds, back haved, 496 and so forth. Front end is in desparate need of a rebuild. We cut the coils to achieve the desired ride height and now we have a really stiff spring and I want to change it. After conversation with Dave Morgan came up with some suggestions...

Re: lets talk BBC headers
I hate to be the fly in the honey here, but I also have Lemons headers on my BBC 84 olds. The work is beautiful but the the fit still is not right. They would not fit from the beginning on the starter side. Even after trying 3 starters and different clocking, we had to mill the side of the starter. ...

WHAT IF........?
Could we settle this on an episode of PINKS??? or, like we do at the school when the bantering begins, take them to the grassy area between the parking lots and let them fight it out. On a serious note though, why isnt Dave Morgan right in the middle of this. I have pages of notes from his seminar o...

Back to the Track
Well I took the Olds to the track yesterday. I set the 4 link up per Daves instructions and EVERYTHING he said would happen did happen. Off the trailer with a long instant center point, the car looked like it had a lever hooked to it and it did a big long left wheel wheelie, about 3 feet or so, ran ...

Settin' up the 4 link, again
Ok guys, let me refresh your memories here. I had the 84 Olds with the BBC that was running the mid 10's and decided to lower the front end and screwed it all up. Well, I went to Daves seminar and I finally got around to working on the car again. The car sets level (measured on the rocker panal). I ...

From Dave's seminar in Richmond!!! Wow, was I blown away. That guy put everything in easy to understand terminology and I now have a wealth of knowledge. If you get the chance to go to one of his seminars, GO!!! Money well spent.
Thanks Dave

I am the one in the car, not the truck. What the pic does not show is the pass. rear (body) continues to go on down until the tub hits the tire. Front driver side ends up way in the air. Then about half track, the tire grows and rubs the tub again. I understand what you are saying about the way it i...
