Thought I would update this thread, got the hole drilled out with my step drill and then used my die grinder with carbide bit to open it ever so slightly for the 12AN fitting, It took some doing but i got it I believe, The biggest issue was this new sump only is 1 1/2 deep compared to 2' on my old 1...

Thought I would update this, I haven't been on here for a few years, I changed to some better flowing heads, still KRE D ports tho(11.1 comp ) and a solid roller, still pump gas 91 octane only! Best last fall at byron was 10.02@132! 1.37 60 ft, foot braking and leaving at 2500..

I'm Gonna try this same thing, I got a -12AN Fitting coming and will drill out the hole that has the 8AN
,If It doesn't seal I'll try some fuel resistant epoxy etc, I'll give updates when completed.

So cars been working great, tightened front shocks to 6 clicks on my qa1 r series. And these are my runs. 1.496,1.487,1.487,1.480,1.484,1.491,1.493, then car sat for 2 hours cause of a mishap from another car shearing his wheel studs on the hit, and landing on guard rail. Now that I have a baseline , will it 60 better by either tightening the front ext some , or by foot braking instead of flashing it? I can only go to maybe 2000 before it starts pushing it.

Yea, I guess Ill wait and see how the track is next time out and if hooking try 2 clicks tighter on EXT just to see, I will leave comp for now then, These are slicks and not radials

Update, Car was AWESOME today!! worst 60 ft 1.486, best 1.464. New personal best 10.508@126.33, new best 1/8th 6.65@ 102.43, Front shocks at 2 off full loose, rears at 16 off full tight on EXT AND 15 OFF FULL TIGHT ON COMP.The car is lifting and carrying the wheels with authority now! Its all back together and their moving now easily, put jack stands under frame n jacked up rear and dropped rear and it falls right down. No more squeaky sounds either from the shackle area when jacking it up. I hope to have camera mounted for Sunday under there too! Just got to fuel it n set preloa...

Thanks John!!! I will put STP oil on bolts n bushings and put back together tomorrow. Then fill cell sat n put weight n drivers seat n set bars. Should have a camera mounted under car too for Sunday!
