Re: victor jr on 421 sbc

If hood clearance is not a problem, I would get a intake that will fit the application. Maybe a Holley 300-25 or Edebrock super victor. I think your app will like a manifold upgrade.

It MIGHT be ok, but seems wrong for the application.

Re: Oil Pan Seals & Sealant - Anyone use just silicone?

Hi John. I like the Fel-Pro perma dry gaskets best. But if I were to go silicone only I would use Permatex (The Right stuff) and put together wet.

Re: 10" faster than 8" ?

once the 8"is restalled to flash higher the 8" will be faster. the smaller diameter and less weight take less HP to turn therefore more power makes it to the rear tires. Dont give up on your 8" , let your converter man change the flash stall and you will love it Thanks for all the re...

Re: 10" faster than 8" ?

something doesn't seem right here are you using a trans brake or foot brake? because with your combo i wouldn't think you want a 8 inch and if your foot braking it and you can get the 10 to stall to 4000 at the starting line that is one super loose 10inch. can you give us more info on the combo I'm...

Re: 10" faster than 8" ?

One thing that I have learned was, not to go cheap on your torque converter because this is the heart of your combination. If your motor doesn't have anything good to transport the power too, then it just isn't going to happen. With this in mind, is the company that you got to make your custom 8&qu...

Could your polarity be reversed? Battery charge backward? Is the 555 back in or just a converter change?

Re: i have a newbie suspension question

Take your index finger, stick it strait-out, knuckle at your hand is piviot piont, mid knuckle is shock, finger tip is your wheel. Move your finger up and down and you will see why there is more travle at wheel than shock. Simple , but easy to understand.
