Re: Master cylinder piston drag??????????
Just found this 4130 steel tube linkage might be able to use this in place of the one I have now . This heim would make up the difference that I would need to get it straight. Check out this number at Jeg's 55-40311 and let me know if this would be alright to use ..

Re: Master cylinder piston drag??????????
That would work if I could switch it out to a heim and put the heim up against the left side of the pedal tab(fin) that would move it over almost straight..... should I get a piece of steel and have it tapped for the heim and push rod?????

Re: Master cylinder piston drag??????????
actually moving it to the one side would do no good , the brake lines are right up close against the 2x3 the way it is....thats why I thought about shimming it or a spacer to bring it out the other way.

Re: Master cylinder piston drag??????????
That's why I thought about the pedal, there is more room to work with, I thought about cutting the slip-tube where the pedal is mounted but trying to get a straight cut , if it doesn't come out straight then I will have a problem. I did talk to the chassis guy that had done work on the car and he sa...

Re: wilwood master
Not sure if I can weld on it, it is chrome plated ,not sure about contamination and getting a good weld...If I take the pedal tab out of the clevis and mount the pedal tab along the side of the clevis I could probably be good , but not sure about strength of rod without the clevis taking up the empt...
