John, I can't tell you how it does it. All i have to go off of is the fact that the tire lasts longer. I know exactly when the sidewalls are gone by my 60' times. I run tubes in a 28x10.5 S slick and would not take them out for nothing. It helps stiffen up the side walls and lets the tire last longer. On my car if i ran without tubes i would only get maybe 18 to 20 passes before the sidewalls were trash. I can usually get about 30 now with the tubes. I would ...
