Dang, when you break something, you do it right. Sorry about that bad luck.

Re: Painted car!!!!!

I just traded some stuff for a pair of fiberglass doors. I'd like to use stock hinges, latches and door handles if I can find a couple junk doors to pull the hardware from.

Re: Alternator Internal Regulators

After more reading, it looks like my alternator should already be set for 14.9v. Highest I'm seeing going down the track is 13.5v, which is a lot better than it was with the lower amp alternator I had before.

Re: Alternator Internal Regulators

I was looking at some regulators on Ebay when the thought of somehow tweaking the voltage popped in my head. Would be nice to bump it up to maybe 15v.

Alternator Internal Regulators

Is there any adjustment on internal regulators? Can a regulator set to 14.5 be turned up to over 16v somehow?

Re: Small tire vs Big tire

Might be. I think I saw something from Tyler Crossnoe on FB about it so that got me thinking it was Memphis. Might be both?

Re: Small tire vs Big tire

Is it SGMP or is it Memphis?

He better go test on a real track on radials if he's going to do any good.

Re: Small tire vs Big tire

We had a race late last year that was probably as bad as no prep in the summer. It was really cold and no one was getting down the track until eliminations started. I was very happy to just be crewing that race and not have my car out there. Somehow no one piled it up. More than a few close calls th...

69434, that's quick for a N/A SBC with conventional heads. Very impressive.

Re: Small tire vs Big tire

Someone around here is trying to get an OSCA vs OKC thing going. OSCA is the organization I race with. I guess everyone just wants to try to get on TV. I really don't like the idea of no-prep races. Great way to spend thousands of dollars in about 2 seconds.
