I need to stay with a 540 cause there is a class around here i want to run. 540 coventional head single carb no nitrous or alky.

Thank you. Yes it has to be a coventional head. I no its prob going to be hard to get a 1000 hp from that just trying to see what would be the best route to go. If i can by an out of the box head thats going to work as good or better than a worked head i think that would be the better way to go. do ...

I was wanting to know what would be the best head to run on a 540 bbc? I would like to make a 1000 or more hp. It got to be a done with a single carb tho. The brodix head hunters look to be the best on the market but i was wanting to hear someone else's opinion on this subject. Thank you.
