I've heard from some guys around the track that have used high ethanol fuels that say the ethanol is ruining their carbs and fuel pumps, is there anything special about e85 or is all high ethanol based fuel safe?

I've got a C6 auto behind my 460 bbf but I don't think its able to handle the hp I'm going to be throwing at it. a racing buddy of mine mentioned sticking a powerglide behind it. does anyone have any info on this kind of application?
