It's a 3.5" with x-pipe going through Borla XR-1s. Went out last night. The AHRA "World Finals" is going on this weekend (yeah, I know... our track is the only AHRA track left and it is pretty dorky, but there is some good prize money to be made). We are trying something new this week...

You can see how much the tires slip.

Announcer said 092 for my reaction time. Wife thought he said 9.92 for the pass... pfff...

Interesting. is it a "HP" Body with high speed bleeds? I have a tip in issue & another guy said to go down on the idle bleeds & then once I get it all resolved, to work on WOT. once I get that figured out I might need to adjust the high speed bleeds some. this is pretty fun, &...

Here is a picture of the alternator bracket I fabbed up. The pivot point is bolted to the lower head bolt. One of the support bolts goes to the same hole as the water pump mount. A third support bolt is at the bottom and bolts to the block (you can barely see it behind the lower portion of the belt)...

New best

Car ran a new best last friday. 60' 1.3441 1/4 8.889 @ 155.14 I was pulling timing off the launch because of a slippery track. The car still was over rotating the tires a bit on the launch. A couple weeks ago it was pulling the front up on just the motor. On friday it had a hard time launching eithe...

Hey Bob. At idle after it is all warmed up, it works best at 17s. Cruising I get mid 13s - low 15s. At ~35mph, it runs in the high 14s low 15s. At freeway, it is mid 13s to mid 14s. At part acceleration, it goes very fat. High 10s. It isn't the pump shot doing it though. If I hold the throttle there...

Wow... Clever idea!

I too had to build new brackets. I'll try to get pictures up in a day or two. Though mine still faces the normal direction. :)

I know what you mean! I have a 140amp CS130 Delco one wire that was standing on its last leg. I tore it apart and tested everything and it all tested fine. The regulator is the only thing you can't test, so I replaced it with a heavy duty 3-wire. Best thing I have ever done! No more of that one wire...

Thanks for the good info. I didn't even think about how much A/F mixture gets ingested at higher RPMs. Starting to make sense now.

As far as burn speed with nitrous, yes, the rate of burn does increase as the nitrous is added.

I'll have to start playing a little more with my digital 7.

Out of curiousity, how does it allow you to " learn what your combustion chamber/nitrous load/rpm limits are"? I've always started with an approximate tune, tested, logged, then went a bit richer. If the results weren't better, I went a bit leaner. Then do the same thing with different tim...

My motor prefers fuel and timing. I've tried quite a few different combinations and it always comes back to it likes to be a little fat with timing rather than lean and less timing.
