The one thing that bothers me, and it might just be the picture, but those slicks look awfully close to the leaf springs. So when will you be trying the new mods out? Same way you would on a race car. Remove everything that isn't absolutely necessary. What does have to stay, lighten it. What I see in a quick glance - Power Brakes, convert to manual Cast iron water pump? Power Steering Wipers Inner Fenders? Lighter wheels Light weight brakes... etc. etc. Aluminum...

Just remember, this is on my car and what works on mine may not be the best for your car. On mine, I have a port on the back of my carb base plate, from there I go into the pcv on the one valve cover. On the other valve cover I use a Moroso breather.
