I've seen headers coated in ATF. They look alot better than you would think.

I've ran methanol on my dirt track cars alot.In a back to back test one motor made 604hp on alcohol and 575hp on gas.It is a real dry fuel I used the stuff with a lube added to it. If the car sat very long I would fill the carb full of gas.A lot of people will say you have to run real high compressi...

The nitrous is being injected in the plenum offset from the runners and the fuel at the base of the runners?Is the black on the headers a heat coating?

When coating a piston on the top and sides can you close the the piston to wall clearance up? .007 is what the manufacture calls out. How thick does the top of the piston directly above the rod need to be to withstand a 500 shot?

Several years ago I moved a sbc back 1'' I believe it took 15lbs of the front weight .Weight in front of the front tires hurts the rear % the most because it has a leverage effect on the rear.I think the more rear weight the more traction you will have at the first hit of the throttle

Sometime in the late 60's chevy changed the location of the timing marks on the balancers.8 degrees difference's learned this the hard way too.

I've used nitrogen in a imca modified.It cost about 20 or 30$ to fill abottle we used an old cutting torch regulator first time we used it we rolled the r/f tire off .The pressure buildup was holding the tire on the bead.We found no real advantage but our tire temps were usually less than 160 degree...
