this 5 gallon cell comes with -10 outlets.

when i got an alum 10 gallon cell from summit several years ago, it came with -10 outlets.
the box was house brand, but the cell was RCI.

I have run and assembled several steel rod 400 SBC's. The bearing clearances that seem to be happiest are .003-.004 on the rods and mains. And these are healthy 23* small blocks over 600 horse on the motor and 1000 on the spray. Be sure to run a good oil pump, new race melling HV or better. As a mat...

water puts the dots in them.
low oil, thin oil, or not enough clearance puts the rub marks in them.

The cool pressure lines are -6 out of the water pump and they go into the head. You can drill and tap the heads if you ever have them off. Those return lines are -4 from the back to the front. -6 would probably be better, but these -4's were convenient, cheap and easy to install and much better than...

yes.
they are worth the trouble.
and pump cold water from the water pump to both heads in between the center exhaust ports.
i have done it on my last few sbc's and they have been much happier.
