Re: NOs Kits
I have plenty of spares, solenoids, timers, relays etc. Should last well into the future.
Re: NOs Kits
I ran a big shot system in my Camaro. Had problems with the mesh filters coming loose and blocking solenoids. Was a hellova thing to find too. (Replaced fuel pumps, lines etc). I now run two Speedtech systems in my Nova and haven't had a prob. I took the filters out and just run big cone filters in ...

Re: 3 Stage Nitrous Setup with Soft Line - Monte Smith
John you're right. The soft lines can't handle big shots.

Re: 3 Stage Nitrous Setup with Soft Line - Monte Smith
I heard there were a lot of problems being experienced with soft lines on the outside jets. Speedtech advised only using them on internal systems.
Re: 2 stages
If your second stage is on a timer you might be better to bring it in sooner rather than add hp.
I run 400 hp off the line and another 300 on a timer which I vary from .4 of a sec up to 1 second depending on the conditions

Re: Trying a new fiberglass company...
I imported Front scoop, rear tailboard, bootlid for my 69 Camaro from unlimited products and they were all a great fit. They were bolt on parts I ordered and there were no probs lining up. I bought two doors for the 69 from Harwoods. Now thats another story. We had to practicaly rebuild them to get ...

Re: To MSD 7al-2 or not to!
I got me a digital 7. Plug in the laptop and set all the retards, rev limits, gear changes, timing curve, blah blah. Its excellent.
Re: blue plug
By the tip, do you mean the electrode or the ground strap? If its the ground strap, thats showing you where the heat is reaching and you can tell how your timing is. Mike Canter has a tech article on here somewhere that explains it all... real good reading.

Re: Transbrake vs Non Transbrake ?
When I started using the transbrake on my Camaro I never went back to the footbrake. Consistent revs at launch. No worries about the car creeping through the lights.

DefNder Safety Device
Does anyone have any experience with the DefNder safety harness? I currently use an R3 device but was wondering if the DefNder is a better option.
