shock and tire setup
what i am looking for is basically is affect of air pressure for my application on the tires.......trying to find the normal air pressure i should be running for my application and also i have coil overs in the front and the back with just one way adjustments.....my take is setting the back stiffer ...

drag slicks 101
I need some information on drag slicks as what compond is best for my combo like stiff sidewall, what compound d1-d5 and what is roll out. My car is only 94 inch wheel base and have not got up to speed on my knowledge for slicks as maybe i need to look at a diffrent tire for my car. Thanks in advance

I got my block from carl at cnc....he did all the machining and shipped it out to alberta for me, i live 110 miles west of you........i couldn't find a better deal and he is execllent to deal with

Hi Guys looking for some info on pinto rack and pinion...my car is 75 pinto...does it use the same rack as mustang 11 and what is the difference from a 70 to 72 pinto rack. I checked on internet and i couldn't find enough info...i found 70-71 rack and stock 74-78 racks and of course mustang 11 racks...

1500 rpm drop on the shift is a bit too tight , so you are correct about raising the stall but i would be cautious about raising it too much , because if you are bracket racing you may loose some consistancy if the car launches too hard , but if you do some heads up racing then 5800-6100 would be o...

My convertor stalls at 4900 rpm and on the dyno my motor made its peak torque from 5100-5300 rpm....i am going to send it in to get loosened up was thinking about getting it set up somewhere around 5800 rpm....i also have another question as this convertor was used in my old motor and with 75 less h...

hey fishman, were you using a 1 or 2" hvh? i have a friend who swears by a 1"open with a 1" supersucker on top?????? he feels his sbc is making more hp with it, using a vic jr. on the strip, something to think about :idea: i have not tried it, but am curious I tried a bunch of diffre...

been usuing dexron 3 with no problems...then tried royal purple synthetic and the et fell off bad....changed at the track back to dexron 3 and got the et back........have a friend usuing amsoil syn and he loves it........never know on some of this stuff until you try but on the other hand sure a was...

Everybody has there own theory.......but i run tubes just as a safety issue and not having to pump them up with air every run or finding them flat in the morning.......but that is just me....i could care less if i loose 1/100 or 2/100 running a tube i just feel safer and one less thing to worry about
