Re: high speed problem 70 Cuda
Make sure when you do the alignment, you raise the front of the car to simulate acceleration.
When i do mine i raise the car 1.5 inches in the front.

Re: 4 link, driveshaft angle confusion
Lets forget the driveshaft angle for a min, driveshaft just connects the trans to rearend.
2 degrees down on trans, 0 degrees on rearend gives you the 2 degrees you are looking for.
Here is some good info also http://www.markwilliams.com/driveshafttech.aspx

Re: 4 link, driveshaft angle confusion
you don't want negative pinion. With a 4 link car i dont think you need much pinion angle 1-2 degrees? Trans 2 degrees down, rearend 0 degrees would be 2 positive. My driveshaft also goes up from trans to rearend, depends how low the car is in the back as well as the rearend type. dana 60 / 12 bolt ...

Re: 1970 Cuda 4 speed 60 ft problem
John the only reason the automatics have taken over is because the rules have dictated it. Get rid of the weight penalty's for running a manual trans and see how many run a automatic. Raffa going to the auto trans in your car may make it quicker than the manual trans setup you used to have in your c...

Re: Ok it's that time again...
I have been having issues all year with getting off the line. Middle of summer in the heat was getting 1.45 sixty ft's, last time out tried a manual ignition retard and was running 1.33-1.35 8.90's to 9.0's @148 much better but data logger still shows wheel speed quite fast and clutch is still tight...

Yes its a Dry sump, and a friend of mine built the headers 2"x30", dynomax collector mufflers, with extensions and turn downs to get the exhaust away from the car.
