Re: Nova Roll Cage Installation
Was the window net attachment and cage certified?
The reason is I need to install a window net, but the bottom bar ends up in the way of getting in or our out.
SFI and NHRA consider cable to be a permanent attachment?

Well this says it all, it works great.
The way I did it as you can see, the red floor plates move and the whole thing goes below ground with nothing to trip over when not in use.

Re: window net pics
I have to disagree with the rules on installation of the window net. The way they want you to install the window net is dumb in my opinion for most cars. :attack: I also don't want to have to pick it up when it falls down between the seat and door to hook it up. :pissed: If you install the top bar a...

Re: Impact Fire Suits Dangerous?
Very good reading, not one guy having issues but several people having issues with Impact gear. And the real kicker is the gear was sent back to Impact and they said it was good on more then one occasion when in fact it was not. What BS. I just bought new stuff and glad to say I went with G-Force ge...

Re: Looking for a paint forum
Maybe you can barter for it??
My freind found a painter that needed an engine built for his car, so my freind built the engine and the panter painted his car. Worked out great and each only had to spend a couple hundred.

Re: Timing chain & other questions
I also am running the King bearings and have had no issues. As far as metal goes I have 10 magnets in the engine at the oil flow ports in the block and six at the bottom of the oil pan, that way any metal will not travel through the engine. If you run the car a lot, its just a good idea to change th...

Re: A new tool and my new best freind
Not to get off the subject, but the money they are throwing at the economy is a joke and won't work at all, just as it did nothing the time before. The way they did it and are doing it maybe 10. cents of each dollar will hit the market. Why don't they quite helping the people who got us into this me...

Re: A new tool and my new best friend
The ______ with the county, first of all no contaminates get in the ground, its a sealed unit, the fluid is added at the top of the unit above the concrete, so even if it was spilled it would have to soak through 6 inches of concrete, fat chance. The same ______ county that will not let me give land...

A new tool and my new best freind
Well I broke down and bought a new tool so I don't have to lay down.
Should be installed within a few days, this should make things allot easier.
If you live in the Riverside County area and would like one let me know, I am looking for more of them as my freind wants one as well.

Looking good, the one thing I had to do that you may want to check is head clearance, I ran a flat plate between the two pipes at the head and could not run the cross over pipes as it would not give me the head clearance required when I was sitting in the seat. When I had it certified he had me sit ...

It's a 98mm system and I havent completed this set up yet. only a few pieces left to go, as we have been working on my freinds car. The last time this system was ran was on a 406cu at 8.5 to 1 comp. making 1000+ hp @ only 14lbs of boost, as the car would hold no more hp. Now it's on a 427cu. at 11 t...

Re: Blower Dynamics - Boost and Static / Dynamic Compression
Hey Bill how have you been doing? Hows the car? I will have to call you or call me, as we have been going to Barona drags alot now. I did not mean to sound sarcastic, so if I did I am sorry. I only wanted to help. The web sight I gave is full of calculators to use. By playing with the dynamic comp. ...
