Thanks

That would be nice! Don't know how spendy it would be though or interior noise, these old trucks are kind of like a tin can inside.

Engine ideas for classic towing rig

Just throwing this out there for some ideas. I have a 66 GMC 3/4 ton pickup that I restored/modified, would like to use it as a tow vehicle for taking my Nova to the track. I built up a 700r4 trans for towing, swapped in disc brakes and a 14 bolt with 3:73's from a 77 3/4 ton. It has a mild 327 righ...

Fiberglass seat mounting?

I'm installing Jaz fiberglass racing seats in my 72' Nova, hope to run in the tens. My question is how to mount the seats to the floor, NHRA rule book is not real clear on this, can they be bolted to floor sheetmetal or do they need some type of reinforcement?

Thanks

Instead of narrowing the factory frame rails, I used the Competition Engineering formed rear frame rails with their frame connectors with new spring pockets, they automatically move the leaf springs in and are alot stronger than the stock rails they are made out of 2x3x.083. They worked great.

Thanks David,

Do you know where I could purchase a fixture or see a picture of one, so I have an idea of what I need.

I appreciate the information.

9" BACK BRACE INSTALL?

I have a Ford 9" housing (large tube 3-1/4" dia.). My Question is I am going to narrow it a little and install a back brace is this possible to do myself? I have heard that I need some type of fixture?

Thanks

FACTORY STYLE REAR CALIPERS FOR 72' NOVA WITH 9" REAR

Hi,

I am mini tubing a 72' nova and installing a 9" rear. I am wondering what are some good choices of rear disc caliper/rotors and mounting brackets :?: ? It is mainly a street car so E-brake provisions are a requirement, and I would like to go with factory parts to stay wihin a budget.
