The tractor ia a 2001 and cost right around $12000. we pulled out the front drive axle and built a back end for it. I think we get right around 9 mpg, but i'm not sure. WE had the trailer pulled home from Indiana for us by a guy with a one ton, and he said he had a heck of time pulling it. Theres 80...

Here's what we use. The back-ends not done on the truck in this picture. It's not a 1/2 ton, but you don't even realize the trailers back there. Can pass 3 cars going up hill running 70mph with two cars in the trailer, full of water in the living quarters, and the quad on the truck.

If you run IHRA, I don't think your cage needs to be certified until you go quicker than 9.00. But yes on everything else except for the neck collar and gloves unless its an open bodied car.

I drive my car up to the lanes and back to the pits and don't have any problems. I just have to make sure I keep the motor leaned out otherwise I'll pump so much fuel through the motor that the oil will look like snot after 10 minutes of cruising. Other than that, part throttle driveability is good ...

I haven't touched the barrel valve in over a year now. As for consistency, I have run within a hundreth of each run over the course of a weekend. So I'd say the repeatibility is there. With the alcohol, you can't run an oxygen semsor because the sesor can't read the air/fuel ratio that alcohol motor...

We run a birdcatcher on my Vega and my Brothers front engine dragster. When we swapped over from the carbs, we picked up 7 tenths on my car. Just make sure that the barrel valve setting is correct and you will love it.

We are really looking towards the short block from Shafiroff. It sounds like a good piece and from what I've heard on here and other boards, it may be the way to go.

Who makes a good small block chev

Anyone know who makes a good 434 short block. Going to be running it naturally aspirated on alcohol. I was looking at one from Scott Shafiroff. Anyone know how good of a motor he builds? Thanks in advance.
