Remote Oil filter...
Im wanting to move my oil filter away from the side of the motor and use a remote oiling system. No dry sump, just move the filters away from the headers and use a dual filter setup. My question to all you gear heads, and I say that with love, :P is do any of you run any of these setups? If you do, ...

Thanks for the input CoMax...Another idea I have is that should I run a return style setup and use my existing -6an line for the return, or run a dead-head system? And I didnt put it in there but I planned on putting a relay in the trunk for the pump.. I was going to make a little aluminum box to pu...

Fuel issue, lookin for some advice.
I've got a 434 in a '70 nova that is pretty stout. 700'ish inch cam with ported and blended Dart Pro-1's with the big 230cc and 2.08int/1.60exh valves. I run a Dart Intake ported to match Felpro 1206 gasket which in turn matchs the heads. It's a 13:1 motor with a steady diet of 116 Torco Race fuel. ...

Typically Glides respond better when behind a large cube motor that is shoving alot of torque out the back. I had a 350turbo behind my 434 sbc and when the pump went and cooked the tranny, I decided to try a glide. It allowed me to come out of the hole much more serious that before. I have a 10.5&qu...

I run 13:1 compression in my car and at the beginning of last summer I was running the VP 112 stuff and then found a retailer for Torco that was closer to the house. I was getting actual better cleaner spark plug readings with the same tune up. I'm normal aspirated, but the car seemed to actually re...

Cool, thanks for the info. Ive got a few questions though if you don't mind. You say to floor the car using a two step, are you meaning the second rpm limiter that my Mallory Hyfire 6 system has? I run that mallory box, MSD pro-billet Distributor with Mallory Pro-master coil. I have the lighest curv...

General Questions about Transbrake...
First off, I picked up a transbrake at a swap meet for my powerglide. It's a stock case glide with JW insides and TCI pump with roller bearing tail shaft. Right now the tranny has a manual foward pattern valve body in it. Im not real sure though of who the manufacturer is on the brake. I've got the ...

I run a 434 in my '70 nova and have the 230cc Dart Pro-1 heads. They've been bowl matched and ported and smoothed, but even out of the box they were'nt that terrible. Brodix Track 1 heads are nice and if you got the money AFR's are truely awesome heads with minor port work. The SB2.2's are badass on...

SWEET! Lots of information on that site. Thanks for the link. I'm going to run one of these this year. They say no return line is needed, is actually discouraged! So I'll run -8an line from filter (which is still in the back of the car by the cell) and run that 8an to the pump. Then from pump to reg...

Yes, I'd like to know what they sound like as well... I currently run a 2 chamber flowmaster 40 series on my nova with dump outs right in front of the rearend and I'm thinking of running either these Flowmaster Outlaws or the Dynamax Bullets or Borla Sportsman's... All are similar type of mufflers b...
