Re: Pick the "Collective Brain" of the site :)

Yeah for sure I was disappointed with how fast the car has went so far. BUT, in the car and motor's defense, I don't have the combo right yet because of learning curve, and budget :) ALWAYS THE BUDGET! :) haah I have WAY to small of a header on the car right now....but this year the 1 /78 to the 3.5...

Re: Pick the "Collective Brain" of the site :)

I wish that I had flow numbers, but the guy that worked the heads and evened them out and opened them up is old school and doesn't own a flow bench but I saw the heads prior to him getting them, and when he was done they just looked so much more "clean"...does that make sense? Are there pl...

Pick the "Collective Brain" of the site :)

Hey ya'll...once again I'm making changes, trying to better the "combination" and over the course of the last 3yr's with my 434, I've learned alot, to say the least. I learned that you can't supply a 230cc CNC'd set of Dart heads with a 830 Race Demon and a Holley blue pump! :0 I learned t...

Re: Mobile Phone Users - What do you use?

The Droid, with the Android OS is a IT guy's wet dream...I can use it to connect via VPN to my network at home while at work, or work while at home. It's got so many apps that are more "geek" oriented, and has a wonderful screen. I'm using a Storm right now, but I keep snatching my bud's p...

Re: Dodge's and 24' enclosed trailer issue's

The questions I had about the power and MPG were more geared towards when the truck isn't hauling...I'm very cool with taking my time when hauling. I don't think the dodge will struggle that much with it, and yes the bags will help alot I'm sure.

Re: Cal-Vert Split Mono Leaf Spring Rates

I have not done that because I don't know anyone that has the scales to use to weight it the proper way to find out but I have read on other boards that they do get some variance. I'd have to think they would because of the design...

Re: Anyone using the Cal-tracs?

I also run Caltrac's and their split mono-leafs and love it all. I'm also ordering a set of their shocks for front and rear....I figure if their caltrac's and leafs are so damn nice...their shocks gotta rock too, and I'm SO flippin tired of adjusting those damn Koni SPA-1's....P.I.M.A. (that's "...

Re: Lifter ?s for dart little m block

I run a 434sbc in a Little M block and I used a standard height lifter, with vertical bars and it's a solid roller small base circle as well. I made up the difference with my pushrod once I got the heads and valve train on and could measure exactly what I needed. I ended up needing a +.100 pushrod s...

Dodge's and 24' enclosed trailer issue's

I recently saw an episode on Trucks, where they put an electric fan on an 01 Dodge Ram 5.7l in place of the clutch fan and ended up getting over 20mpg on highway. That's pretty decent. My question is, I have an 06 Dodge Ram 1500 4x4, with the 4.7l aluminum head motor and it's got a clutch fan as wel...

I'd have to agree with Supernova...with as cheap as KB pistons and Diamond pistons are, just get a new set and get it all clearenced good and good rings and you'll be way happier.

Re: Dash / Gauges question

Yes that idea you got of putting a nice cover over the AC controls and radio area are good...I till definitely take that and run with it, but I'm also wanting to get rid of the swing gauge speedo and such in the middle...they just unbolt because in my first nova I ever built I had to replace it beca...
