Went to start my engine last night after a couple months not running it turned over and fired but is backfiring through the carb and the blower pop off plate. I reweighed it with all 4 scales connected but it was the same also weighed myself and that was ok well additional 1.5# was extra turkey I guess lol
I only bought regular panels not race weight maybe they are lighter or that spoiler is more than a couple #s

I just dragged the original 72 out and it weighed 47# that was with no hinges or springs .

Has anyone read "Door Slammers" by Dave Morgan
Just heard a CD which is part of what he covers in the book
one thing he talks about is light weight over length springs for the front end
which is something I have never seen mentioned before.

I know it varies from car to car but I was able to get a *ord 9" in with 10*15s without tubs I have mickey Ts 275*60*15ETs on and they are flush with the fenderwells on my 72 ss.

I am running a 4150 pro systems Holley on an adaptor plate not sure about the Dominator BDS or Superchargerusa.com should be able to help the other item you might consider is water/methanol injection especially if you are going to run Nitrous as well, I amthinking that once i get the Blower running ...
