The x-bars are used to help stiffen the chassis to make rear suspension changes more predictable.

I've heard that to. Haven't seen anybody prove it yet though. It also depends where you lose the weight to (sprung vs. unsprung vs. rotating)

I would just put a cable at the front of the lower bar. That way it drops down out of the way when you get out.

We ran almost all of last year at Grand Bend. We were at Cayuga for the first two PMRA races with both of the cars. We run Milan about once a year and every now and then Martin. I was in the ONDR two years ago.

From what I read off of MSD's website, the first module is to limit engine rpm for during your burnout. It is active when 12V is applied to the red wire. The second module is for your max rpm/ rev-limiter. It's active when there is no power to either the red or blue wire. The third module is for you...

The one in my car is the same as John described. I used a heim rod end at the top back and a seat belt buckle at the top front. Solid rod through the bottom. My net is a Chassis Engineering one, part #4032BK. The bottom angle matched the angle of my one door bar perfectly.

Strip only. Currently runs 9.39 @ 140 but with the new motor, maybe we can tickle the 8's. Oh yeah, we only bracket. There's no heads-up classes around here that we can run in unless we start running in the 6's.

Hey John, are you still going to run the PLC? Just wondering because by the time you get the controller, I/O cards and power supply in, wouldn't it just be easier to run MSD stuff? Just wondering, because I've thought of it before.

I've only run the last three races with this and I think with crosstalk or even just a delay box where you can leave off the other guy's top yellow there is no real advantage. It really all comes down to personal preference, but if i'm the slow car i like to be within a half tenth of the other car. ...

What about the 64-72 GM A-bodies. Same kind of rear suspension as the mustangs and there are lots of parts available for them?
